Found this courtesy of @monstercutie via Twitter: a street artist going by the moniker “Above” has created a purposeful way to play with the intersections of light, shadow, graffiti, and guerilla sculptural installations. My inner art nerd is insisting that this is a “quasi-metaphorical expression of the ideal of graffiti as transitory or ephemeral art meant to overlay and integrate, becoming a part of the environment over which it appears, contextualizing itself on a moment-by-moment basis in the bustle and flow of city life, and in the empty spaces in between.” My rational self is more like “ooh, neat!”
Either way, there’s a video below the fold, and you should watch it.
