No, really. It’s a website devoted to cataloging the best (and occasionally worst) of concert posters. Given that album art and liner notes are in decline, that band-to-fan communication has to appear somewhere. Liner notes are morphing into websites and Twitter/Facebook/MySpace digital data presences. Album art mainly appears on iPod screens these days, and it’s been observed that the concert poster may be regaining some creative ground against album art.
If you’re interested in the often-eclectic world of poster art, this is a great place to get familiar with. Now if only someone were doing the same thing, only for theatrical plays….
Take the Color Personality Test
I have no idea how this works, but the basic idea is that it’s a personality test, only you get your results by selecting your favorite colors out of a group of color swatches, first in descending order of fondness and then again in ascending order. Then it spits out a personality profile.
This shit’s like some kinda Pantone Ouija board.
