About 35 minutes – doing a little better on staying in my time limit the last couple of days. This one’s pencil, sepia Inktense pencil, and a couple of watercolor pencils. Plus water, of course.
The substrate is Stonehenge paper, a heavier-weight form of Bristol board made with (usually) 100% cotton fiber. It takes liquid exceptionally well – the reason it’s often used in printmaking – so it works much better than Bristol board when using wet media. It’ll buckle a little, but not much.
Good stuff.
