Every so often, for one reason or another, I find myself re-evaluating my life. Anybody who knows me offline will be up to speed on what’s going on in my life, but for readers who are really only familiar with my presence online, I probably owe you an explanation. So here goes. Earlier this year I went [...] Sometimes, we find really good stuff on the internet. One of the larger aquatic guivres, or “sea serpents.” The sargasso wraith is notable for its translucent flesh, and for the thick layer of skin which grows over its scales – internal scales are a rarity in the draconiformes family tree. The leathery hide of the wraith is covered in muscular, prehensile growths resembling kelp [...] I picked up yet another nice little Taschen book the other day – about the life and work of Alphonse Mucha, one of my favorite illustrators and one of the historical artists I find most inspiring.
