This small, quick drake is named for an American radio personality. That’s all I got. Some days my sense of humor’s like that. Yesterday a giant of the sea, today one of the land. Who says size doesn’t matter? This unique land drake was observed only briefly, and at great distance – for reasons that should be obvious. The structure of the head and body would seem to indicate a semi-aquatic fish-eater, but the creature was spotted far inland [...] Just felt like drawing a massive, gnarly-looking deepwater sea serpent today. Hope that’s okay with everybody. Trying out a free art application I’d not had luck with before, and I think I’ve figured it out. Inkscape is a free vector drawing program sporting features meant to compete with Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW. The user interface is still pretty rough around the edges, but the actual functionality isn’t bad at all. This piece [...] Yet another amfipteryx genus, the waveskimmers are adapted for life lived almost entirely on the wing, or underwater. Sorry this one’s kinda subpar; the composition makes me cringe. I’ve been, ah, “enjoying” the aftermath of mild food poisoning today. Even mild, it’s still not particularly pleasant, and I’m feeling pretty run down. |
