Every so often, for one reason or another, I find myself re-evaluating my life. Anybody who knows me offline will be up to speed on what’s going on in my life, but for readers who are really only familiar with my presence online, I probably owe you an explanation. So here goes. Earlier this year I went [...] Scribble scribble scribble scribble…. Sorry this one’s pretty much phoned in. It’s kind of my birthday, so I thought I’d take the day off. Sort of, anyway. It’s been a pretty good day, and I spent some time at Chicago’s Renegade Craft Fair. If you have the opportunity to hit one of the RCF events, go [...] Tonight’s Drink & Draw was the last one in the current location, and it’s moving. I’ve even got the flier to prove it. End of an era, yeah? Yeah…but the new place apparently has crazy good specials on Tuesdays, and a literary theme to boot. Seriously. A bar with a library in it. No regrets. NONE. Well, okay, [...] So wow, busy busy busy. Item the first part: if you’re into comics or related media, and you live anywhere near the Midwest, and you can get to Chicago, I have it on good authority that C2E2 is going to be a blast. I intend to spend a significant part of the weekend there, and I’m [...] I love flying. Post-9-11 I hate airports and airlines. In a little over fourteen hours I will be forced to put up with all of these things in order to get to Dallas for work.
